The Forthcoming Jaguar XF Sportbrake Will Be Release Next Month. Here Is How It Looking

Despite offering a mid-sized crossover in the form of the F-Pace, Jaguar isn't yet giving up on wagons, like some of its rivals. Even better still, Jaguar will sell the upcoming XF Sportbrake in the US to fight the Volvo V90 and Mercedes E-Class Wagon. Jaguar is showing it off in ridiculous tennis-ball camouflage, but regardless, it still looks sharp. Just imagine it in British Racing Green instead.

The XF Sportbrake is wearing this, uh, interesting wrap because the automaker tapped tennis legend Andy Murray to help with its reveal. In any case, this new shot, released by Jaguar, gives us the best look yet at the XF Sportbrake. Unsurprisingly, it looks like an XF with a longer roof, but what else did you expect?

When it arrives stateside, the XF Sportbrake will likely receive a range of engine options, including the same 380-hp supercharged V6 found in the F-Type S. There's also a rumor that Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) will stick the company's big supercharged V8 under the XF Sportbrake's hood to take the fight to the Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon. We certainly hope that's the case.

We've seen the Jaguar XF Sportbrake testing at the Nurburgring, where it looked like it was hustling. Jaguar says this wagon will make its official debut on June 14th, before this year's Wimbledon tennis championship. We won't be surprised if we see it at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month too.
