Nokia Officially Present The New Nokia 7 To The Public

Recently, the Finnish company Nokia has just introduced the newest member of HMD Global’s Android smartphone roster, yes, today in an event the Finnish company Nokia finally unveiled its new member of Android smartphone roster.

The event took place in China, where the Finnish company, Nokia just introduced a new phone with Carl Zeiss optics like the one that includes the Nokia 8, however, the difference would be that this phone will only include a single rear camera.

We are talking about the new Nokia 7, as it would be strange (although very interesting) that the company launches a low-end smartphone with the same optics that it has already used for its high-end smartphones, and was also one of the which popularized the company several years ago when they were the leaders of the mobile phone market.

A few months ago, the Finnish company Nokia introduced its first Android smartphone in China, specifically it was the Nokia 6, so they could carry out the same tactic with the Nokia 7 that could well be their last phone presented this year, except for the plans of the company with the Nokia 2.

However, apart from all these things now if we talk about the looks of the new Nokia 7, then I must say that it has a premium look, though it comes with bezels, but still, it comes with IP54 certification, which means that this new Nokia 7 will be splashproof essentially.

While now if we talk about the specs then this new Nokia 7 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC which is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, has support for the microSD cards along with the 64GB of internal storage. Not only that, as it has 5.2″ 1080p IPS LCD screen with the Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 16 MP rear with the f/1.8 aperture along with a dual-tone LED flash and a 5 MP front camera with the f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity-wise the new Nokia 7 features Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, NFC, and LTE Cat.6. The new Nokia 7 also has a fingerprint sensor which mounted on the back side of the device. Moreover, it runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat (Oreo update guaranteed) and has a 3,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology.

Now if we talk about the price of this new Nokia 7, then it will come in two variant and two colors (Gloss Black and Matt White). Soon, it will be available in China on October 24 where the 4GB RAM variant will cost CNY 2,499 ($377), and CNY 2,699 ($407) for the 6GB RAM variant. However, currently, we don’t have any information about when (or if) the Nokia 7 will be sold in other countries or not.

So, what do you think about this technology? I like to hear your thougths and views in the comment section below.
