Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus Now Available for Sale at AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Plus Other Retailers

Samsung’s next big thing is finally here. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are officially available at all four carriers in the US, as well as other retailers like Amazon, B&H Photo and The Galaxy S9 starts at $719 and the Galaxy S9 Plus at $839, though if you are buying through the carriers, you may see higher prices depending on the carrier – which is quite normal with flagship smartphones.

The Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, with a 3000mAh battery and a single 12-megapixel camera. While the Galaxy S9 Plus sports a larger 6.2-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, with a 3500mAh battery and dual 12-megapixel cameras – with the second being a telephoto lens. Otherwise, both devices do sport the same specs. That includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset powering the show, with 64GB of storage available and a micro SD card slot. Samsung still does not support Adoptable Storage, but the micro SD card is great for saving images and even music offline. Both smartphones are available in Lilac Purple, Midnight Black and Coral Blue colors, at all carriers and US-based retailers.

If you are looking to get rid of your current phone, Samsung and the carriers are all offering up trade-in programs that can net you up to $360 off the purchase of a Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus. Obviously, the newer the phone, the more money you’ll get for it. For example, the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus or Galaxy Note 8 will get you $360 off of your Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus purchase.

There will likely be other specials available as well, as Samsung and its partners are looking to sell as many Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus units as possible. If you are looking for an unlocked Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus, you’ll want to check out either or B&H Photo. Now Samsung’s website does sell carrier models as well (and they are actually a bit cheaper than at the carriers), but it also carries unlocked models of both smartphones. It’s great to have a number of choices for purchasing the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, especially since all retailers and carriers do offer up payment plans, for those that don’t want to drop $700+ right now on a new smartphone.
